My name is Elaine Alghani. I am a modern medicine woman, shamanic coach, teacher and guide.
And for over 30 years I’ve been studying, gathering, and assimilating healing modalities that honor the sacred in all beings, and create lasting transformation.
I work intuitively with individuals and groups to guide, and reawaken the truth of who we are. To shine in the world through our essence, and to know ourselves as love and beauty.
One Love Foundational Healing © is a beauty way path that embraces an “everything is medicine” approach to life and healing. It offers foundational shamanic, indigenous and expressive arts practices that inspire and create lasting change.
Personal healing is not a one size fits all journey. Some people respond better to one modality than another. And so before I work with a client we have a complementary discovery call, so I can better know what will support you in our sacred work together.
Ultimately, I feel that healing is a hero/heroines journey towards personal truth, freedom, sovereignty, and self love. And from there we can re awaken out of the pain of separation, and into an interdependent love for "all our relations”
Elaine has been privileged to study with indigenous teachers from North and South America and the UK, completing a rigorous five-year apprenticeship centered on the cosmology of the medicine wheel and the path of the heart. Her work embodies the belief that healing is a deeply personal, co-created process, where clients are guided to remember their inherent wisdom, reclaim fragmented parts of themselves, and reconnect with their essential truth.
Elaine’s offerings include one-on-one shamanic healing, expressive arts coaching, ceremonial work, and immersive group retreats designed for profound personal transformation. She provides a sacred space for clients to release trauma, dissolve limiting beliefs, and align with their true selves.
Rooted in the understanding that "everything is medicine," Elaine’s work invites clients to find beauty, love, and connection in all aspects of life. Whether in-person, online, or in group settings, she offers a deeply tailored and compassionate approach, inspiring lasting change and awakening within every journey.
Elaine is based in Idyllwild, Southern California, where she works with clients globally through in-person sessions, remote healing, and curated retreats.
Why I Apprenticed
Looking back, apprenticing felt like a natural progression—something I was unknowingly preparing for all along. When the opportunity arose, it felt like a gift, though hindsight reveals it as the result of years of immersion in my shamanic work.
I was fortunate to find Tomas, a teacher with integrity who led by example. For years, I learned by observing—no manuals, just experience. His prayers, his relationship with the elements, especially fire, and his honesty left a lasting impact. He wasn’t perfect, but his humility and transparency taught me invaluable lessons.
When the chance to apprentice came, I said yes without hesitation. The journey was about apprenticing to Tatewari, Grandfather Fire, not a person or tradition. Over several years, the medicine wheel shaped and transformed me, teaching me truths that can’t be contained in words.
